Assembly Technician: Building Precision Machinery with Pride

Join Park Industries as an Assembly 1 Technician, where you’ll assemble, align, and prepare advanced stoneworking equipment with precision and care. In this role, you’ll be part of the team that ensures every machine meets Park’s exacting standards before it ships to our customers.
What You’ll Do
As an Assembly 1 Technician, you’ll gain hands-on experience in precision assembly while contributing directly to the success of our customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Machine Assembly: Drill, tap, mount, and fasten components according to blueprints, ensuring all assemblies meet specifications and budgeted hours.
- Alignment & Adjustment: Position components, plumb pneumatic and hydraulic lines, and set, adjust, and verify 3-axis machine travels to exact standards.
- Quality Verification: Inspect and test assembled parts, complete Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when required, and follow Faro laser alignment procedures.
- Workstation & Machine Prep: Maintain a clean, organized work area, and prepare machines for shipment by cleaning, securing, and finalizing details.
- Team Collaboration: Use overhead cranes for large part positioning, assist with preassembly and troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
This role would be located full time onsite in our St Cloud facility. You would work first shift, Monday to Thursday 6:00 am – 4:00 pm and Fridays 6:00 am to 11:00 am.
Experience and Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 0–2 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Manufacturing environment experience (preferred)
- Working knowledge of email systems, IMS, and JDE
- Familiarity with manufacturing computer systems such as AutoDesk Vault and Design Review
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use hand/power tools with precision
- Forklift Certification

Pay Transparency Statement
In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.00 to $21.50. Please note that the range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift. Full-time employees may also be eligible for variable compensation, company-wide incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. Additionally, the availability of benefits and programs may vary depending on the hire date, employment type, and hours worked.
