The Accounts Receivable Specialist 2 position is responsible for the quality of accounts receivable and for operating accounts receivable systems to provide meaningful, accurate, and timely accounting and management information. The position works with minimal supervision, communicates effectively across the organization, and leads key functions within the AR area.

As the Accounts Receivable Specialist 2 at Park your essential duties and responsibilities will be to:

  • Analyze and monitor customer accounts. Make collection calls, send collection letters, set-up payment plans, and track customer collection status. Communicate with customers via phone, mail, or e-mail to address customer account or invoice questions. Coordinate electronic transactions for customer payments
  • Act as the Finance contact for day-to-day AR/Sales processing issues related to JD Edwards, including testing processes as needed. Work with Customers on credit terms requests, coordinate the receipt of credit references and determine recommendation on issuing terms
  • Process and post daily check, electronic, and credit card payments. Apply payments and credit memos to open invoices on customer accounts
  • Prepare daily parts and service invoices and distribute to customers. Review terms of customer service parts orders that were processed, and address issues as needed. Ensure sales tax exemption certificate compliance for parts and service sales. Work with Customer Service on customer account questions and status of outstanding warranty return transactions and coordinate the resolution of outstanding transactions
  • Complete month-end close activities including, but not limited to; closing the AR ledger, calculating the bad debt reserve, distributing customer statements. Prepare monthly AR reports and analytics, then present the information at the monthly AR meeting
