Greetings to TSMA members, associates, and friends!

Summer is flying by! I hope you’re enjoying it with your friends and family.

It’s almost time for the 30^th Annual TSMA Golf Social on July 19 at Geneva Golf Club near Alexandria. Please register your team to golf, attend the dinner/awards, or become a sponsor! This is our biggest fundraiser, and we really need you to participate and help raise funds for manufacturing career awareness in the area. It should be a blast!

TSMA currently has 151 members! Our membership goal for the year is 165 members. Help us reach this goal by recruiting a new member. If you are new to TSMA you are invited to register for the new member orientation on Tuesday, August 15 at 2:00 pm.

Midwest Manufacturers Association, our association management company, is excited to announce the launch of Midwest Manufacturing Journal, a regional magazine that will be printed quarterly. The first issue will include the annual membership directory, which includes membership information on all members of AMFA, CMMA, RRMEA, and TSMA.  

As a member of TSMA you can benefit from participating in MBiz Solutions. You can realize a cost savings to your operation by using the Employer Health Plans, the Employer Dental & Vision Plans, PROduction Workforce Professionals or the Trifac Workers’ Compensation Fund. The TSMA program committee needs your help!! We meet the first Tuesday of the month and are trying to find speakers, venues, manufacturer tours, and sponsors for our meetings September through next May. Please contact Alisa right away with your ideas.

Last, but not least we need TSMA members to get involved. We are looking for members on the following committees: Membership, Programs, Special Events, Government Affairs, and Workforce Development. Please let me know where you’d like to serve.
