Greetings to TSMA members, associates, and friends. A huge shoutout to my fellow manufacturers even though Minnesota Manufacturing Month just ended! Thanks to every one of you for your contribution to the stable production and distribution of an array of amazing products, as well as contributing to a vibrant economy in your community.
 
First, I’d like to invite you to register and attend the virtual meeting on November 2 at 2 pm. The topic is Virtual Healthcare – Engaging Your Employees. The speaker will be Julie Munkelwitz, Sr. Benefits Advisor at Kraus Anderson Insurance.  
 
Second, MMA is pleased to announce the hiring of Alisa Sherwood as the new Executive Assistant. TSMA also recently hired independent contractor Shari Petersen to coordinate the TSMA Manufacturing Career Dream Team (previously the Dream It Do It Manufacturing Career Dream Team).

Check out the recap the 28^th annual TSMA Golf Social on July 22. Plans are already underway for the 29^th annual! TSMA uses all proceeds from this event to support youth manufacturing initiatives in the region.

TSMA will be hosting a Workforce Meeting on January 11 in Alexandria. Please make plans to attend to learn more about our efforts, community efforts, and brainstorm additional initiatives that we can undertake to help this painfully tight labor market.

I would also like to encourage your registration and participation in all our upcoming events. We had to cancel our September meeting because of the lack of participation. We are here to help you succeed, but we need your help for us to continue to succeed!
