TSMA Hosts 28th Annual Golf Social
Just over 100 people gathered for Tri-State Manufacturers’ Association’s 28th annual golf social, held at Pebble Lake Golf Course near Fergus Falls on July 22, 2021. The day-long event included lunch, a best ball tournament, awards ceremony and dinner. The weather cooperated beautifully. TSMA is pleased to report profits of nearly $11,000 in support of manufacturing focused youth programs in the region!
The Golf Committee once again used an arbitrary approach to award team prizes:
1st Place Team Tri-County Foam
5th place Team ITW Heartland/Morris Midwest/Wyoming Machine
10th place Team Alexandria Pro-Fab
TSMA sponsored cash prizes for the following proximity contests:
ü Closest to the Pin – Randy Roers, Innovative Builders
ü Longest Drive – Cory Hillary, Kraus Anderson Insurance
ü Longest Putt – Scott Goebel, FORCE America
Prize money from the putting contest was awarded to Scott Kluver, Innovative Builders.
A total of 23 companies sponsored the 2021 golf social; thanks to each and every one for contributing to the success of our 28th annual fund raiser! (See the list of sponsors below.) Five hole sponsors added an element of fun by hosting a game/giveaway and accompanying prizes: Douglas Finishing, Kraus Anderson Insurance, Cybersprout, PROduction Workforce Professionals, and ComDel Innovation.
Cosmos Enterprises sponsored hole #2, where Alexandra Thorstad was on hand for the TSMA fundraiser “Pick, Place, Putt” - netting $380. Marilyne and Albert Morisette, Ichor Systems, graciously hosted the putting contest again this year. Thank you, Marilyne, Albert, and Alexandra for your volunteer support!
The 50/50 raffle, another popular TSMA fundraiser, paid out a record $765 this year!
