They are guide-tested, wilderness proven, and highly demanded by camps, resorts, fishing guides and professionals throughout North America. Whether aluminum or fiberglass, each boat is skillfully designed to offer anglers the optimal layouts and features they desire. Engineered for maximum performance and superior boat control, Lund Boats have a proven legacy for delivering “The Ultimate Fishing Experience.”

Company History

1. When was the company started and who founded it? In 1948, G. Howard Lund built his first aluminum duck boat. The secret behind Lund's success was in his extreme attention to detail. Lund’s prototype offered a superior design and unparalleled engineering, creating improved fishability and durability over existing boats.

3. What is significant/interesting about the history? Throughout our history we have always been a company who specializes in fishing boats and 2023 will be our 75^th anniversary.
4. Who are current owners? Are you a corporation? We are currently owned by Brunswick Corporation, the world’s largest recreational marine manufacturer.

1. Who are your customers? Our customers vary from avid anglers to weekend warriors who enjoy spending time on the water. Most recently, we won the Customer Satisfaction Index Award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association for our 11^th consecutive year, representing our commitment to delivering the highest levels of customer contentment.
2. Where are they located? (regional, national, international) Throughout North America (U.S. & Canada)
3. Who do you want for customers? We are looking to attract the next generation of boaters who enjoy exploring the outdoors and water recreation.

1. How many people work at your company today? Currently, we have approximately 630 total employees.
2. How many products/services does your company produce in a month/year, etc? We produce approximately 10,000 boats per year at our New York Mills facility.

Future

1. Are there currently plans to expand or change? To help meet the increase in demand for Lund Boats, we currently have more than 40 roles open to help build our award-winning products. As we continue to grow our brand, we look forward to welcoming new members to the Lund family to help continue our legacy.
