TSMA 2020 Board of Directors - election results

Mark Petersen, Operations Manager at ITW Heartland, will serve as President of Tri-State Manufacturers Association in 2021. This is his fourth term as president. Alexandra Thorstad, Sales & Marketing Manager at Cosmos Enterprises, will serve her second term as Vice President. Chuck Gaffaney, Massman Automation, will serve a third term as Secretary and Sandy King will serve her first term as Treasurer of TSMA. 
 
Thank you to four women whose participation on the TSMA board of directors came to an end in 2020: 

  • Nicole Klimek, Lowry Manufacturing. 4 years of service
  • Liz Diedrich, Diedrich RPM. 4 years of service. 
  • Marilyne Morisette, Ichor Systems. 2 years of service
  • Amy Johnson, formerly with Northern Contours. 1.5 years of service. 
Your vision, leadership, and dedication to the betterment of manufacturing in the TSMA region is sincerely appreciated!
 
Board election results
 
TSMA Board of Director election results were determined when voting ended on November 4, 2020.
 
Seven nominees were listed on the ballot; six people were elected to serve a two-year term beginning January 1, 2021.
Incumbents:
  • Shawn Becker, Jim’s Electric, Alexandria
  • Mark Petersen, ITW Heartland, Alexandria
Newly elected:
  • Tim Kindel, Blackhawk Industrial, St. Cloud
  • Nicole McDonald, Brunswick-New York Mills
  • Don Moske, Vector Windows, Fergus Falls
  • Melissa Olheiser, OECS Workplace Safety, Fargo 
Rounding out TSMA’s 12-member board in 2021:

  • Tony Hanson, Alexandria Technical & Community College
  • Sandy King, Fergus Falls
  • Phil Johnson, PAYDAC Plastics, Fergus Falls

  • Deb Waldvogel, Doherty Employment Experts, Alexandria
